Apartamento Iturriza is a fully renovated beautiful penthouse loft apartment located in a quiet street on the edge of San Sebastian’s Old Town and offers uninterrupted views of the magnificent “La Concha” Bay from a large 40 m² terrace. The terrace boasts a lounge area for relaxation and sunbathing, a large table to enjoy meals, and a set of speakers for listening to music, all while enjoying the incredible view.
The area of the famous and picturesque Old Town surrounding Apartamento Iturriza offers all kinds of services, from shops, supermarkets, souvenirs, etc., to the best bars and restaurants in San Sebastian. The Old Town is the heart of San Sebastian’s culinary scene, and tasting the famous “pintxos”, which are known internationally, is a must. For those inclined, this area also boasts the best nightclubs in town.
The apartment has two light-filled bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a small balcony with views out over the Old Town’s rooftops, and the mountain ranges of Peñas de Aya and Ulia as a backdrop; such is the vantage point from this room, you can see the sun rise while still lying in bed. This room also has a large wardrobe with ample storage space. The second bedroom has a trundle bed that can accommodate two people. The beds and linen in both rooms are new. Both rooms have block-out shutters, enabling those precious hours of extra sleep-in time after the sun rises.
The apartment’s bathroom is neat and modern and features a fully contained shower and heated mirror. It also has a small storage unit where you can place your toiletries.
The air-conditioned living area is very spacious and features the building’s unique original wooden structural beams running across the loft ceiling. In contains a large lounge, a coffee table and a satellite TV, and the view of “La Concha” bay is easily visible through the terrace’s glass doors while relaxing on the lounge.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes all basic cooking utensils and crockery, however with some of the best food in the world on your doorstep you may want to eat out more than in!
THINGS TO KNOWThe apartment is on the 5th floor of a building with an elevator. Once inside the front door of the apartment, there is a small internal set of stairs to reach the main living area. On request, a child-safety gate is available for installation at the top of the stairs.
Apartmento Iturriza is owned by the operators of Pension Iturriza, located on a lower floor of the same building so if you need any assistance during your stay, help is only a phonecall (or elevator ride) away!
Due to the quality of the fixtures and furnishings of Apartmento Iturriza, parties/large gatherings, and pets, are not permitted. Apartmento Iturriza’s terrace is really something special. It has stunning views of La Concha Bay, Monte Igueldo, Ondarreta and Palacio Miramar. Relaxing in the lounges and soaking in this magnificent backdrop, is something that you must experience! For stays of 2 weeks or more, weekly cleaning is included in the rental
